Minimum Rate
$60/hr is the minimum rate. Final rate confirmed by the Off-Duty Coordinator based on assignment type and timing.

Holiday Rate
Assignments on recognized federal or state holidays are subject to an increased rate. Coordinator will confirm at approval.
Short-Notice Rate
Requests with fewer than 5 business days' notice may be subject to an increased rate.
Multi-Deputy
Standard rate applies per deputy. Final estimate provided once scope is confirmed.
Rates set by GCSO policy, subject to change. The Off-Duty Coordinator will provide a written cost estimate prior to confirmation.

Deputy Options

All deputies will be in full uniform. Any departure from standard uniform must be considered on a case-by-case basis. If your assignment has a specific attire requirement, please note it in the Additional Notes section below and a coordinator will contact you.

Some assignments may be staffed with an unmarked vehicle; however, all unmarked vehicles are fully equipped with lights and siren.

Method of Payment
Check at End of Shift
A check payable to the deputy will be provided at the conclusion of the assignment.
Payment by Invoice
The deputy will provide an invoice to your organization for payment processing.
Cash on Site
Cash payment will be provided to the deputy on site at time of the assignment.
W-9 Required?
Does your organization require a W-9 form from the deputy prior to payment?
Workers' Compensation & Liability

If an injury occurs to a Deputy or Deputies during the time that he/she is employed by your company as a secondary employment, does your company provide workers' compensation insurance or liability insurance?

ℹ The minimum rate is $60/hour per deputy (3-hour minimum). Holiday assignments, short-notice requests, and other factors may result in a higher rate. The coordinator will confirm the final rate before finalizing your assignment.
